Families with dementia

Therapy dogs are well-behaved community members who provide emotional support to people. Their visits have a positive influence on social, physical and mental well-being.

THERAPY DOG VISIT & CONVERSATION

Visit with caregiver and individual with therapy dog, Linus, to engage, provide calm and discuss and address concerns.

  • Provide comfort and calm with trained and registered therapy dog
  • Professionally engage and interact with person with dementia
  • Discuss and address caregiver questions and concerns 
  • For in-home, community living, TCU, hospital, or hospice settings (must observe facility rules)


Linus is a Canine Good Citizen®.

Valerie & Linus became a registered therapy dog team in 2017.
